Hey, a friend of mine is having issues where he is casting a spell then it wont land for a second after. this just happened, nothing has changed.

i had him run a tracert because i believed there was a problem with one of the routers, the only problem he has with his internet is EQ. here is his tracert.

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms ANDREAS-ROUTER- [192.168.1.1]
2 8 ms 7 ms 8 ms 10.64.0.1

4 11 ms 7 ms 7 ms 24-234-6-188.ptp.lvcm.net [24.234.6.188]
5 79 ms 79 ms 78 ms nyrkbprj02-ae3.0.rd.ny.cox.net [68.1.5.161]
6 192 ms 88 ms 80 ms 70.167.150.226
7 84 ms 81 ms 94 ms 108.61.244.50
8 81 ms 81 ms 79 ms vl203-cr1.ewr3.choopa.net [216.155.128.2]

whenever he calls his internet company they tell him he needs to buy a new router and he has ran the modem right to his computer without his router and experienced the same problems.

it seems to me like they have set up some kind of pay wall where they wont fix the routing issues unless he pays them 200 dollars for a new router.

Even if it was the router, why would you be getting one from your ISP?

"Issue happens when directly connected" is all you need to say. If they dont understand, ask to speak to their manager or the next tier of support.

Does the issue happen with other services? Netflix, etc
