I just found out that this game went free to play today, and have been curious about it for a while, so I finished the DL and started exploring around.

Anyone play it? Good sites for guides or general tips? From watching some twitch streams the game play looks really good, if I can get past the cartoony graphics.

Thanks. I'm happy to spend the cash on something worthwhile, but after the last few years of shit, I feel like spending money on an MMO is akin to paying someone to kick me in the balls.

I sincerely doubt you'll need any guidance/tips until you start figuring out how you want to grind for gold late game.

GW2 is so strategically shallow you can't really go wrong.

In PvE, at least. PvP isn't exactly deep either, but it will wreck you all the same until you figure out what you're doing.

Honestly I thought it was kinda ok at least. Definitely not great but not terrible like ESO or something.

Played it for a while and had some decent fun around when it came out. Didn't play much once I was a higher level but read recently they're doing an xpac.

I enjoyed it when i played at launch.
my biggest gripe is every character gets like 5 moves to use over and over again

got max on launch was fun

pvp was fun but wasnt open world, and it had no real reward or risk so didn't hold attention for too long

the world v world pvp was cool but the queues were really really long that early

I played for awhile when it came out. I actually liked it a lot. The dodge stuff was kind of odd, but it was a good game. Thought about playing again.

No, I didn't try PvP on there. I got a Thief to 60 but then lost interest.

pvp looks p goog I might give it a try, game overall is pretty impressive graphically for an MMO imo.
