Make clerics, the server needs more clerics so friends tmo cs etc can actually get into some content, or if you want to join empire.

That is all.

luv having 2 60 clerics, and a 51 cleric. makes life so much easier when you can put rezzers and healers in multiple spots and not have to constantly move them. But totally agree with OP, more clerics on the box. If you DONT have a cleric and you are level 60, make a damn cleric. They are so easy to level up.

I want to level a druid to 60 first.... :D

Then... maybe I might "THINK" about levelling a cleric to 60... MAYBE

So ironically before seeing this post, I decided to try Red and I rolled a cleric since I've never played one. I figured that being able to heal well in pvp might be good enough to bore my attackers until they leave. Being that this is my first toon on red, is it a bad choice of class? I.E. will I be getting my ass beat on an hourly basis as a cleric? Or will I be fairly durable?

Depends on if you're a man or not.

I rolled female for cybers. Shall I re-roll male?

all my clerics are naked and stripped but still this x 1000. it was even better when they were geared but just having 4 zones at any given time I can exp rez in (each cleric's zone + bind) comes in handy almost as much as my druid. its even better when they're deleveled for ninja pvp rez's. only way it could really get any better would be if they had epics and pots binds. would like to play and gear one of them again or roll a new one, but i'm an essential class so i would never have the chance. therefore all their gear is on a shaman.

nah cleric's a great first character. you can't really solo things that aren't undead but you make godly duo partners with an enchanter or shaman. get to 50+ and any guild on the server will get you an epic and nodrop gear just for being a cleric. you won't ever kill anyone who isn't stupid or afk, but you will hardly ever die and most people will leave you alone once you're geared. in group pvp clerics are up there with bards & melee as the best classes, and good pvp cleric players are very rare to come by on here as many people play cleric specifically because they don't want to pvp.

if you're new to the server consider making your cleric evil erudite or innoruk human, because you can do a pretty easy quest to get a See Invis helm instead of having to pay 8-12k for a Bracer of the Hidden. not having see invis really sucks on a cleric and farming for a bracer would be a pretty big hurdle for a new player especially because you'll need jboots too.

Thanks Xaanka. I was contemplating rolling a Eru due to those quests. And, I am weird and like the way they look. However, I started a HIE simply for grouping purposes early on, but I'll reroll Erudite.

Do not do Inny human. I did, and I'm gonna reroll Erudite. Inny human can't do the snare necklace quests out of Neriak(which I discovered after trashing my halfling faction), and will need to faction in Warrens or Erudin to do Paineel quests. As of now, only Cazic clerics can do the Summoning of Fright, Terror, and Dread quests, I think.

Thanks for the tip. I rolled Erudite. Name is Santo if you want to team up.

Clerics are fun, you won't get many kills but you are next to impossible to kill. People will go OOM trying to kill you. All bets are off when you get in range of a 60 though.

Incorrect. Human inny can do snare necklace quest without faction work as well as the Paineel quests. Paineel quests require some faction work since you start off kos, but it goes quickly killing erudite guards, which will make you kos in erudin. Snare necklace honestly is not a very good item though.

Have you done the Neriak quests? I could train with the Dark Elves but dude would not offer me the quest. His reply was along the lines of, "You will never be worthy of helping us". And yeah, the Paineel quests are doable for a human cleric of any deity, but not without some factioning. I didn't make that very clear, at all.

Yes did the snare necklace quest as human inny with no faction work. Did you turn your starting newbie note in to the GM cleric in Freeport underground? It raises your faction with Neriak clerics enough to start the quest line.

Probably lowered your faction with clerics of innoruuk. Did you do any quests for the good cleric guild in FP or anything? Anyway, the snare necklace really isn't very good so not a big deal. The see invis click helm is by far the best item.
