The druid bear pet has an incorrect amount of hitpoints. Currently he has I believe 13-14 HP. A 15 DMG hit kills him in 1 shot.

He should have closer to 300-350 HP.

It is just a fun spell.

BooBoo is about 300hps ish and hits max 30 ish.

All the "Ahh,,,he's so cute" is about what you will actually get out of him.

Coffee table ornament and conversation piece, mostly.

Great for keeping crap off you while in SoRo, or sitting afk in most noob areas.

About 300 hp, max hit double 28 + bash (the bash is the only redeeming quality really; makes him worth having out for an easy exp camp to interrupt casters)

To piggyback, cleric druid and wizard pets should only be buffable by their owner for duration of our server.

Wizard, Druid and Cleric pets and familiars can now be buffed by characters other than their owner.

Also appears that auto target of pet-only spells was a 2002 change. Should have to manually target or the spell won't take hold on improper target, but still use mana.

Pet-only buffs now automatically attempt to target your pet if you cast them with the wrong target or no target at all.

It currently has 100hp and hits for 25.

Pending update:

Increased max hit to 28, and increased hp to 300

Does the hit point thing scale by level?

Because I dueled a 58 Druid with a bear pet on my 51 enchanter. A melee swing of 15 DMG dropped the bear pet from 100% to death.
