When i finish casting Cinder Bolt (36 mage DD) My char reacts as if i casted a wave spell (lifts his arms more than once), and damage isnt applied until well after spell has been cast.

Quick! Edit your post! Your character is bugged and is doing triple damage (don't let them find out or they'll take away the gm-mod powers that you have been given by accident)

Mage bolt spells are supposed to have a delay, from the time the casting completes, accounting for travel time, and until it hits the target. This implementation accounting for travel time to target is just starting to go in.

The extra animation, yes, that may be a bug. The extra animaiton at the end, is when the spell hits the target. I am not sure if this needs changed or not. I will have to look at it further.

Yes, this issue was because of the patch lastnight and has been resolved. Thanks for the response.

The delay should be in there. That is how mage bolt spells are supposed to work.
