In-Game Petition

Could someone please explain how you petition in-game?

Is it /petition <petition heading> <petition description>

E.g /petition "Other" "I am a Noob"


I thought that I had petitioned but when I type
/viewpetition (If I remember correctly. Not in-game atm) I see nothing.

I don't believe you can view your petitions, if so I learned something. I always just /petition <description of issue> and I never have a problem getting a response. If you have been doing /type petition over and over thinking your not petitioning because you can't view; More likely than not you're flooding them with petitions lol.

Make the first 10 words cover what you're petitioning if you can. I remember a while back that starting a petition with

"Hey guys it's Swish here and I just wanted to say that I lost my corpse and I've looked everywhere but I think it might have rotted and I was wondering if I could get it put back somewhere if you get a minute."

...is not so helpful.

Try:

"Corpse rotted: Swish. Any chance on getting it restored? xoxox"


I think that helps them a lot more (and reminds them that they're loved). Be short and to the point. Economy of expression etc :)

/viewpetition was added in 2002, so it wouldn't be classic...
