Guardian Armor in Skyshrine

For pure nostalgia factor I was aiming to get a guardian robe. I know they are 'ultra rare' as are any piece of guardian, and I can honestly say that is true. I got into a cycle of killing 8 named guardians down every spawn cycle, I would get one drop every 2 maybe 3 hours give or take. I have seen two breastplates and legs, countless pauldrons as well as the other pieces except for the robe and shield which I have yet to see oddly enough. Questioning whether they really do drop *dons tinfoil hat*. At this point having spent maybe 40 hours killing there I've lost most of my motivation to camp it anymore. Classic? :P

i have been in there a few days now and havent seen the robe either! only items i've seen have been arms bracer boots pants sword and shoulders! still NO shield robe bp gloves of helm :( anyone else having luck with the robe tho! lol

I've seen the BP and helm drop. But no shield or robe.

Have also camped SS for probably 10 hours. Never seen nor heard of it dropping either.

robe droped while i was murdering stuff for my kael faction, i called it in ooc and i believe a magician from divinity got it .

What does the robe drop off exactly? Is it only Gargoyles? Specific ones? Named only? Been hunting in here and can't find any of this armor to drop, must be ridiculously rare :P

Drops off any guardian. They all have a name. But yeah it's all super rare. You can max giant faction and still not get that much armor.

So is guardian armor drop rates from the Revamped skyshrine? I remember guardian armor being a lot more common. and so do the posts on allakhazam from our era. There are also some saying that sentrys drop guardian armor as well, but not vis versa (guardians wont drop sentry armor).

the drop rates incredibly low. Farmed it forever.. get like 1-2 pieces of armor every 40-50 mobs in my experience.

Anecdotal from live: I seem to remember the 32k HP gargoyles having a better chance than the rest of the guardians. By better, I mean 1 in 50 rather than 1 in 100.

The one thing I do remember is going from 30 to early 40's in Skyshrine, and I was still missing the boots on my D/E SK. God I wanted to win Fashionquest so badly...
