Hi Guys. I took my 37 druid to Kedge last night to try charming in the first room, and had my ass handed to me before I even broke the room. Could anyone give me instructions/tips on how to break the spawns in first room? Lookin at you daldaen...

Calm animal, and be ready to zone on crit resists.

there are exhaustive guides written on the wiki for kedge. i recommend you reference them and experiment more.

Go big, practice lots and see if you can eventually solo Phinny, I think only Hathaway (www.twitch.tv/redwjamz) has done it so far?

Ensnare 1 mob and zone out.
Invisible v Animal and zone back in.
Ensnare another mob and zone out.
Inivisible v Animal and zone back in.
At this point there should be 2 snare parked mobs near zone in. If you need to aggro them again and swim to zone out, let them path close to you then zone out again.
The goal is to have both snared mobs sitting at entrance ensnared. Once that's happened, swim up in the top of a corner, using Z Axis to your benefit, and charm 1 of them, root the other one and keep him rooted.
Get your back in a corner and recharm on breaks, always be more cautious than you have to. Zone out if you are getting chain interrupted.
Repeat this process several times until the room is broken. You can try calm animal but it's likely you will get a critical resist one of the six mobs you have to cast it on. Making the snare parking faster.

Assuming, like it does for me, it doesn't take 5mins to load zone each time

Ensnare lasts 15 min. If you can ensnare 2 targets and zone then you could likely break this way.
Also if you happen to have a higher level you can just stagger the spawns by killing them on your higher level and waiting 5 min and killing another pair and waiting etc.
