Looking for someone who might be interested in helping a new Mage get his focus items. Probably a long shot, but I figured I would try!

Pretty simple quests to help a solo Mage out. Mostly 1 drop from a 30-35 mob, some might require some patience and tracking to find.

I think he meant your characters name, level, and if you had the money to actually buy the gems you need.

I have a 53 mage who still doesn't have this done. Not gamebreaking. Wait til 35 and camp it yourself was my outlook.

Do not wait until 53...do them as soon as possible. Fire>earth>water>air. In that order. They are all great tools.

That's what I'm trying to accomplish, but being so new to the game and not having a guild or high level friends to help with the killing it makes it a little tougher. I can probably do most of it by level 25, it's not that far off but I figured I would try to find someone who might want to help me get a head start.

You still havent told us your characters name so someone can contact you ingame.

Some advice for next time.
Characters name
Level
Time and time zone you play during
What you need help with.

It would probably be a good idea to make friends with a Ranger at or near your own level. That way you have a tracker and some melee assistance.
A Mage/Ranger duo actuallly sounds like a lot of fun. A nice combo of skills with just enough danger to be exciting in some places.

You don't really need a tracker for this quest. All you have to do is grind on najenas magicians or CT's alligators till a quest item drops. As for duoing with a ranger it is really bad. Ranged damage sucks and if the ranger melees it takes aggro from the pet which means less damage from the fire pets DS. Better bet would be druid.

So call up a water pet, hand him a summoned dagger and let him backstab.

You can make any duo work if you know what you are doing.

Water pets don't get backstab till 50+. Mage/ranger can work but its just a horrible combo til PoP+.

LOL! Been out of the game so long, I forgot that little tidbit.

But still playing a less than ideal combo, makes you think more. You might find skills you never knew you had. Part of the fun of this game is the problem solving that less than ideal circumstances force you into.

If it was easy, anyone could do it.

Well, in any case Otemo is my in game character., level 12 Mage. I don't get time to play very often, so if anyone is interested in duo'ing send me a private message and we can set something up. I'm really up for any combo, just doing something other than solo would be a nice change of pace.
