No matter which way you slice that pie Empire still has half of it. That leaves exactly zero room for small guilds/up and coming guilds AND competition for Empire. This necessitates anyone who would challenge them inviting the entire server to join, including the 30 or so off limits players.

For raiders I don't think the game changes much, people will just be raiding different zones.

Probably be a lot less interaction between casuals since things are spread out more. The gear spread widens and probably brings more frustration. Once BiS players start appearing I imagine new smaller guilds will appear with members that no longer wish to put in effort raiding and ultimately will quit out of boredom.

I predict there always being just 1 major guild raiding, future raid guilds may have a little more trouble with some smaller geared crews PvPing them here and there.

R99 is pretty much a blue rmt server run by empire. No interest in being tagged in the guild. Since GG disbanded they absorbed 20+ of their geared 60s. Server is a joke :)

What happened in Fresh was a completely predictable reaction to a chain of events starting with Maxs forum quest, resulting in highly focused Empire grief and culminating in the Alliance.

I, of course, have some regrets but ultimately I don't feel I was capable of changing the outcome much.

Max went a bit overboard because he didn't see it as a game. FQ is important but it's a game, just like the rest of it.

<Empire> has so completely won the box that Sirken has actually started a thread debating wiping it clean. If you guys want to avoid that it's time to start thinking about how you're going to help the box instead of yourselves. To see the population PLUMMET after Velious opened because you guys so completely shut it down was nothing short of amazing. Grats you...but c'mon. There's winning and there's just being completely stupid. <TMO> could have done a great deal of good here...especially if you guys had gotten together behind the scenes and talked about it a bit.
