I started about a month ago and I'm having fun thus far. I have a level 25 necromancer. Now that Velious is released I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm going to never really be able to access end-game content and get into raids. I've been told that a pre-nerf Circlet of Shadow is very important and I feel like I now have a time limit on getting that item. However, I tried to get the SK Treants camp for two days and it was always held down by someone with far better gear than me. I don't see how I can hold a camp down against people who are years ahead and can gear out their alts far better than I can gear my main. If I can't hold down a good camp then what chance do I have of ever getting enough platinum to be able to play end-game content? I know I'm supposed to be playing the game just to have fun, but I can't help but feel that I get less fun out of the game when it seems like there's a ceiling on the progress I can ultimately make.

Now I prepare myself for the posts telling me to stop whining or to join Red. I know that I'm likely overblowing these issues, I just wanted to put them out there to get some feedback. At this point I feel like I should just focus on leveling and not worry about getting platinum until 50+, but at the same time I want to get a Circlet of Shadow before it gets nerfed. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Is there a way to delete this thread? I didn't know how the forum worked when I posted my first thread, so when I didn't see it show up after posting I made this one. I then read the rules and found out that threads needed to be approved by a moderator prior to showing up on the board.

Just level up. You will make cash leveling. As for circlet nerf I think its still months away. Depending on how much you play you could hit 60 in a month.
