The exploration teams have scouted the lands of Velious, and have requested that we open our ranks for more adventurers!

Our goals for this re-release of The Scars of Velious are to spill the blood of gods and dragons, explore new lands, complete quests with one another and enjoy the content as much as possible.

We don't believe in 100+ people raids, "zerging" just isn't our style! When you show up to an <Asgard> raid you play a role in a team of people who all enjoy the game, maybe you don't know everything, that's ok, we'll help you out!

We understand that people have families, jobs, and other obligations that take precedence over EQ! Warm welcomes for our casuals!

But we also understand that you neckbeards have that dragon blood lust, we got you!

There is a team of dedicated Asgardian officers ready and willing to lead you head first into dangerous dungeons, to take down some hefty weight Velious mobs!

I know it's been quiet for a while but we are still going at it! We have been doing a lot of ToV HoT armor farming and have gotten countless drops including BP/Leg pieces.

We are still active in the old world epic mob killing spree and VP when possible.

The guild is a "Filthy Casual" atmosphere but you can count on the molten core of players inside this protective bubble! Yes the guild was designed to allow you to tend to pressing RL events and come back to the game when you are ready.

I post this story every now and then...here goes again.

When i started P99 last year - I was as n00b as one can get. I didn't know anyone IRL or from my other games that were playing on P99 - But the nostalgia itch was strong, so i installed anyways. I randomly made friends with a few <Asgard> alts and before long, they let me into the guild when I was only level 30. Since that time, I have raided/conquered the Plane of Sky countless times, completed my Epic, reached level 60, have multiple alts with 150K+ in items and money, and am in almost full velious armor. EQ is definately all about the loot, but it makes it so much more immersive when you can do it with a great group of nerds like we have in <asgard>

You are never "required" to show up for anything, leadership in the guild makes you excited to play and people show up as they can. I owe my entire P99 experience to <Asgard> and would never even consider joining another guild. When we advertise as a casual-hardcore guild....well there is really no other way to explain it, its truely a unique blend that allows people to play as they wish.

What a historic end to a crazy repop cycle! I'm not sure what we're more excited about, our massive kill list or sweet velious helmet graphics! It was non stop NToV loot rain for hours. With machine gun NToV dragon pulls, we smoked the competition and we took what we wanted. Everyone got a piece of the pie, both casuals and the super hardcore. Beginning as class R scum, <Asgard> began its slow crawl towards Velious with uncertainty. We forged alliances and friendships with many guilds and veteran players, we learned the tricks of the trade, and we have come so far. When I think back to where it all began, I can only remember our first Class C Fay that fateful earthquake a year ago.

Great work this week with you guys. A shame we were suspended for 4 mobs. List would have been even larger. Those triple spawns that happened twice were pretty hectic. Killing back-to-back dragons twice was very fun and let the competition get a few kills. Win win for all when everything spawns on the same day.

Awesome start of the week after a storm of pixels on Sunday. Monday Asgard was firing on all cylinders!

Innoruuk 2.0 called us out the other week in RNF so we took our forces to Plane of Hate and killed him, followed up by a visit to Velketor's Labyrinth where we slayed the mighty Velketor the Sorcerer. Not so mighty after all, he was tanked the whole fight by a Pint size Paladin. After Velks, we swung through Kael for a quick Vindicator kill followed up by a visit to ToV for a flawless Sevalak kill. We ended the festivities with another Statue of Rallos Zek kill with our friends from Forsaken.
