Black screen

I just finished installing and going through the installation process. When I try to launch the game now using the launch titanium file in the directory the screen goes black like its trying to load up i can see a cursor like its an ingame cursor but that is all. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

I just figured it out, sorry for the post and im looking foward to playing this great game again see u all in game!

how did you fix this problem? im also getting a black screen.. and when i try to run troubleshoot compatibility of eqgame shortcut it is telling me to delete wsock32.dll and eqgame.dll but i do not have them in my directory :(

i had to hit Alt enter to fix this issue it took me hours thinking something was up please delete my post i googled wrong the wrong issues :(
