Level 12 update

Well it's taken me a month but I made it to level 12 (enchanter) and just want to say how awesome this server and everybody on it seems to be. I've spent most of my time grouping in Crushbone since I haven't been able to solo very well (and I like grouping better anyway.) People seem to genuinely enjoy playing in groups and it's not the grind I remember from live.

Just wanted to say, thanks for being awesome P1999.

And yes, I just had my coffee.

When you get to level 16 you will be even more happy lol. :D You get Breeze, and a few other goodies. Keep leveling it. They get better with age. :p

Grats on your first charm!

Try it out in a group setting to get the hang of it, it's amazingly powerful. Especially at later levels. Just don't go charming even/yellow/red con mobs! Go for the lower blues.

Like a total newb I didn't have my new spells with me when I dinged. Although I only have like 10pp to my name. Charm will probably be the first one I buy though.

What's your in-game character name? I might be able to help you with some spells and stuff. Especially when you ding 16 I have the researched ones you can have - Levitate, Disempower, and Mesmerization.

I don't mind running around to get the ones that you can get at vendors though. I ran all the way from Faydark to HHK to get my pet last time.

The ench animations are pretty powerful until like lvl 29 or lower. Then charm really shines. So if you find that charm is not mana efficient at lower levels just break out the animation, it should be able to take the hits well enough. (Especially if you summon the highest lvl one possible for that spell rank)

I didn't charm until I was lvl 27. I moved from TD ogres to WW yetis and the animation got owned by them. Charm worked...well, like a charm : )

Complete tangent-- To be honest I hadn't heard the term "poopsocking" until P1999 and I can't, for the life of me, stop cracking up over it.
