I just found out about project 1999 and almost wet myself! I played back around 99-02 and definitely have always missed it.
So I've started again as a lowly Wood Elf Ranger to relive the good old days :)
Last night as I logged in for the first time and started playing, I had a friend who has never played before watching over skype. I was trying to explain in words why everything was so awesome and epic in EQ but all he saw was a few bats and wasps with low pixel counts and an old EQ vet literally high on nostalgia haha!
Anyways, good to be back, hope this thing lasts a long, long, long time!
