To make it closer to live (at least to real kunark/velious era)

Loot timer - should be able to loot someone else's kill after 5min 50sec instead of 4min 50sec

Begging - should be able to raise skill on npcs that have agro, I did it all the time (auto attack off, beg, auto attack on)

Mend (for monks) / Sneak (for rogues) /sense heading - should not require training from guild master (which it does at the moment)

Language - Should not need to relog for skill to correctly show after skill ups

Proof for any of these?

Only the language one looks legit

Hmm.

I've noticed some non-Classic stuff with looting/poofing, but the 4 min 59 s timer appears correct.

I don't have any proof at the moment, all from experience, I played few months before Velious release to PoP, and I remember clearly 5min 50sec mark is when I was able to loot all the time (since you need to right click to loot and until you can loot it will show the 'xx min xx seconds left on the corpse, you do not have permission to loot') message, I have done that thousands of times during the three expansions.

I am one of those people who has pet peeve for spending unnecessary GM points and I am very certain you didn't need to spend GM points for mend/sneak/sense heading, even for language like dragon I will find someone who speaks so that I can train with someone else (you can train someone to be 1 point higher than your skill, so with one person having just 1 point, both people can max the skill) and that way I don't need to waste the GM points. If you level 1-30 and spam sense heading during combats and running around, that's probably 10000s of clicks, and no skill raise probably means you need to put a point to raise.

If I remember correctly only things you ever needed to put a point was any skills obtained after level 1, and fletching

I mean sneak for rogue as they get the skill at level 1 (monk will need to train as they get the skill at 8)

FYI if you create a bug report, you must report proof that things were different on live than they are here on p99.

Lots of people remember lots of different things. Maybe you're right about your claims but nothing's going to happen unless you find era-specific proof. Just how it works around here.

Quick log and leveling a new character on live is another way to test also, I don't have all the patch notes but many of these things never changed
