How to claim?

Silly question :)

I lost something and petitioned. The guide told me on my other char, to log in and claim within 7 days. Silly me, I should have asked how to claim. I logged in and typed /claim, but nothing happens. How do you claim something as I have never done this before. Thanks!

Are you talking about a body decay? If so it's most likely next to freeport/ec zone line.
Can always repetition online, send a PM to that guide on the forums or look up their address and ask them in person. All options are best really.

It was for an item that vanished. I actually had a bag vanish, but that is what was in it. Never had anything lost or decayed before, so not sure how to actually claim. Can't believe I didn't ask the guide. Just assumed I would log on and figure it out from there, lol. Wing-it style.
