Looks like Mythic revamped DAOC a bit. Started a trial account on Gwyivin3 for some RVR PVE pimp nonsense. I went midgard, looks like the hippies (hibernia) are leading the realm war. If anyone is bored... start up! Double boxes with p99 seemlessly

I just had them send me my name and password information, as it has been a long long time since I was in that game. I was surprised that they were not F2P yet.

If you have old DAoC accounts, you can reactivate them and get some free gametime. It used to give you a month free. I have so many accounts that I could rotate them and never pay for the game :-X . But they changed it, I cannot remember what it is today, but I think it's around seven free days. You do have to put up CC info, and do a Sub, but it won't active until your free playtime is up. So just reactive an account, then unsub before the seven days are up or just unsub immediately.

I say free, but I'm pretty sure there will be a tax charge for them dinging your CC. Anyhow, a pretty good deal to get some gametime for the cost of the taxes of a 1 month subscription, especially if you have quite a few accounts.

I hated to re-post but I cannot edit my last post. I'm thinking about returning sooner or later, dont have much time to game right now.

What did they change? I mean I played DAoC for 8 years and with how much I hate luclin models if all they did is make the game look different I'm not sure how hip I am to come back just for that.

Lots has changed it's easy to get all the artifacts you need and level 50 in just a few days or less leveling in the battlegrounds. Rvr is still a lot of fun and all though there is less nostalgic things to do the rvr cannot be beat.
