Haven't logged in, in forever - why are my characters gone?

Hey guys, haven't played in forever, I linked my eqemu account with my project 99 account as it said to do, but all my characters are gone? I haven't played since March of 2013, was wondering if someone could help me. Thanks if so.

Triple check you have the right server selected.

Whenever this happens to me, I then realize I accidentally clicked on the wrong server.

You could have the wrong server selected, using a different account, or someone knew your account info took your stuff and deleted your characters.
