Solo Battle Cleric

So yea, I rolled a Cleric on Blue and have soloed it till 20 where I am currently at now and doing good vs Blues and Even cons. Yea I know I know, why didn't I just go Paladin or Why am I playing a group heal class as a shitty tank? - Because I didn't want to. Now that we have moved beyond that,I have the Poison Wind Censer & Fungus Covered Scale Tunic already but I want to have two sets of gear for if I group or Solo. I got the group set pretty much set up, but could use some suggestions on good gear to buy to do the Solo Battle Cleric leveling.

Any good gear suggestions for the Solo Cleric?

What race? Enchanted/Imbued Dwarf plate would be great for a battle cleric if your race/deity fits. Buttload of AC, Str & Sta for melee with some wisdom to boot.

Dark Elf Cleric actually which has close to Full Enchanted Cultural Armor with Fungi (Barring the GEB's). I will go ahead and grab a DawnFire, Morning Star of Light for sure. Any other suggestions on specific gear to go grab?


oh and is it Dex that enhances procs? The higher the dex the more procs? sorry its been a while for me and Im used to playing casters :D

Dex does increase proc chance, but I think it would be more beneficial to gear AC/HP over Dex as a solo "battle cleric".

I remember seeing clerics melee in velks all the time, didn't SOE improve their offensive/defensive tables during SoV? Or maybe it was during SoL, I'll have to look at the patch notes. I think it was right around the time that SOE improved the summoned hammers clerics get

Clerics gain the Bash skill beginning at level 25. They will have a maximum skill of 125 at level 50, 165 at level 60.
Clerics gain Hammer of Judgement - a level 56 summoned hammer with a powerful and frequent proc effect.
Clerics gain Yaulp V - a level 56 self-only melee and mana regen buff that adds haste, dexterity, mana regeneration and stamina regeneration.
Clerics gain Ethereal Elixir - a level 60 group version of Celestial Elixir, the heal-over-time spell.
Clerics gain Ethereal Light - a level 58 upgrade of Divine Light, the single target heal spell.
Clerics gain Ethereal Remedy - a level 59 upgrade of Remedy, the single target heal spell.

It is pretty easy to pretend you are a Pally Tank if you want with good gear. :D About the same DPS, little to none.

Low 40s-early 50s you should basically be living in Lower Guk. The place was made for Clerics/Paladins/Necros.
