I finally farmed/saved enough to get my shaman an ikky regen bp. Aside from Fungi tunic is the iksar bp widely considered the next best shaman chest gear available for general purpose use?

I think after you get 60/Torpor regen tunics become passe, and then you want to wear something else nifty. But prior to 60/Torpor regen tunics are the way to go, because they're basically mana regen.

Figured as much. Doubtful my shaman will ever get torpor even at 60 unless the prices drop further with velious :P

Who knows though ... my main I'll push to 60 once they repeal the xp penalty. I'm sure I'll reach a point where I've got more money on my hands than gear I need to buy for my primary characters.

It's probably 2nd best bp yes. Stats on kunark bps aren't as good as regen (unless you're an iksar and can get pd robe)...maybe vindi bp or other velious stuff is better.

At 60 my sham regens 41hp/tick standing, I'd say regen is still useful at 60 with torpor
