Herro. Thoughts on warrior pvp though out the levels? I am not twink. Will I resist spells at ~30 if I have shiny shield and dwarven chainmail? Seems warriors are pretty OP if you can actually get up on the opponent. Have some mates, so some grouping not out of the question.

How do they play 1v1 against similar level/gear specific classes? Below is just theorycrafting mostly to start discussion. Pls dont be mad cause I'm prob wrong. (:

Wiz/Enchant/Necro/Ranger - in big trouble if they snare/fear/mez/root you, and we should stomp otherwise
Pally/Shaman - tough match because of their sustain
Cleric - Unlikely to be able to kill each other ever
SK - kinda favorable since their casting likely to resist/interrupt and they are the worse brawlers
Rogue - hope we can win this one lol
Monk - even??
Druid/Bard - Best result is prob that we can't catch them?
Mage - gotta be terrible matchup if they have a brain

Thoughts/Ideas??? :)

if ur poor lammy mainhand wurmslayer offhand / FBSS / Basic MR gear

carry lots of sow potions and pumice

if people are stupid enough to let you get a pumice or 2 off you can find alot of kills

I haven't played a warrior, but I think you'll actually be somewhat vulnerable to bards, druids, rangers, and SKs, especially outdoors, as they can snare you. Mage earth pets can also land root. You will want to avoid being caught out in open zones.

Also, roll deep. If caught alone by certain classes, they can kill you, so stick with a crew, especially for a specialist class like warrior. Same applies to monks, rogues, clerics, and perhaps other classes.

About resists - just like all of us, you're going to need 80 or 90 or more MR to resist the dangerous CC spells that can get you killed (root, snare, mez, blind, stun) - but actually 120-130 so you can resist that stuff even when tashed or maloed - and eventually closer to 180 so you can resist that stuff even whe tashed AND maloed.

Nice, thx 4 the ideas. Good to hear they aren't quite as totally hopeless as people make them out to be, if just try to overcome their weaknesses.

I pvp'd on a solo warrior fine and actually never died all the way to level 53. Consumables are the big difference maker.

SoW pots, jboot, levi cloak, pumices for yourself and enemy. MR gear with the innate warrior MR boost and you will rarely if ever die unless you get extremely outplayed.

I guess I should train up my archery then, correct? Any merit to thrown?

This 100 percent

Also to add warriors in pvp 55 plus are support focused you do dmg yes but you're there to kickstun and call targets as you dont have the dps of a monk/rogue

and ya train your archery get a runed oak bow or make yourself a craft bow until you can get an underfoot

Wurm mainhand only. Berzerker damage at low level catches most opponents off guard.

Ez class to hit a safe MR to avoid getting cc'd. No exp penalty.

Duelwield > 2hand

Wiz/Enchant/Necro/Ranger - in big trouble if they snare/fear/mez/root you, and we should stomp otherwise

War has innate mr bonus. Takes fewer items to hit resistance safe spot. Don't worry about getting rooted.

Keep sow pots and protect the buff from getting dispelled your either going to chase them and not hit them or they going to lose. Wiz can go oom trying to nuke you down if you have any hp buffs. Only scary if they have terrain advantage (high ground lev etc). Ench with a pet can be nasty. Try to pell it before he sees you, otherwise zone because you won't channel after he sends it.

Pally/Shaman - tough match because of their sustain

Paladins are laughably weak. Have no fear. Only strong at like level 10 vs nakeds that can get blinded.

Shaman not very potent low level. If he's got a pet it can be problematic since you won't be able to cure yourself/dispell. I don't think malo will land if you have enough mr to resist root 80-90ish~ if the shaman has help can be a real problem, ench tash will let malo land. Then there will be trouble.

Cleric - Unlikely to be able to kill each other ever

Cleric wont even scratch you damage wise. Focus first if he's got a friend.

SK - kinda favorable since their casting likely to resist/interrupt and they are the worse brawlers

Sk stands no chance toe 2toe. Only threatening in a dungeon poking while you have npcs on or around you.

Rogue - hope we can win this one lol
Monk - even??

Rogues can backstab while back2back, and large angles than they should. Tougher.

Monks avoidance is insane, strongest class melee vs melee imo. Gear check for sure. If he's using wu sticks and a crescent gi hes going to lose. If he's got dragon haste ifs/tstaff fungi he's going to be very hard and most likely win

Druid/Bard - Best result is prob that we can't catch them?
Mage - gotta be terrible matchup if they have a brain

Thoughts/Ideas??? :)

Druids might be an issue low level. Depends on your FR. Haven't experienced low level druids since resists were tweaked. Avoid them outdoors if they are kiting you. Auto win if they try to tank and nuke you, or in doors close quarters.

Mages at low level not very threatening. If they have help can be an issue (enchanter tashing helps malo land for extreme debuff, earth pet root will land. Bolts break against terrain so if you abuse that good for you.

Mayo+tap on rice is surprisingly good (ez on the mayo). Might require a prerequisite of weed and booz, been awhile.

Def suggest using tapa if you are making some custom bbq sauce for some chicken wings.
a lot of bulls eye + medium amount of tapatio + little honey + little dijon mustard = da bomb
