Wizard research?

I just hit level 20 on my Wizard but am somewhat cash strapped. When should I start researching?

Just find the right runes and have a high level wiz combine for you. The only research spells worth it: Pillar of fire (16), column of lightning (24), circle of force (34), ice comet (49), supernova (49). Actually you can probably narrow that to ice comet and circle of force. Ice comet scroll is no drop so you have to research that, i just saved all my trainer points and threw em into research at 49,just get a bunch of rune of frost/rune of Astral and spam combine, even if your skill is low. They drop a lot in chardok so just chill at ent and see if people let you loot them.

If you do pbaoe leveling then some of those might be worth it, but I hardly used those spells (thunder clap,cast force? Etc). Ignore spells that say alkabor anything.
