Pained Soul Bugged?

I know this is a rare spawn but we can account for quite a long period of time without a spawn... Both players could not remember the DE cleric's name and were not logging.


Pehpar 6/15 1:30 EST - current ~ 5.5hrs
Raato - 6/14 1pm EST - 6/15 1:30 EST ~ 24.5 hrs

Raato took over from a DE cleric who did not get a PS spawn ~7 hrs
Rewl turned camp over to a DE cleric

Rewl 6/13 12:30am EST - 6/14 6am EST ~ 29.5 hrs
Plakacka 6/12 6:30pm EST - 6/13 12:30am EST ~ 6hrs

That takes us 72.5 hrs back without a spawn, almost all the way back to the patch. Anyone have feedback?

Colgate I would agree that this is a long spawn up to 30 hrs even, but at 73+ at this point seems broken.

It took me around 55 or 60 hours to get mine.

Thanks uteunayr that is the info I was looking for, maybe it is just an extended unlucky stretch. 73+ seems too much though even still.

Guys please post useful information in the thread, this isn't RnF. If the spawn was actually broken the mob is so rare that it would be hard to determine and could screw over a bunch of people who are investing long periods of time in it. If you have spent a long period of time consecutively camping the mob please chime in. If it turns out not to be bugged at least the post will come up when players search on the forums looking for information about the camp.

Usually doesn't take that long but it can, assuming you all went through ~625ph's, with a 0.5% spawn rate that would happen about 4% of the time. Obviously don't know the real spawn % chance but you get the idea

You didn't consecutively camp this either. People don't always tell you the truth if it spawned or not. Useful information for you from about 2 months ago:

Some Cleric: 8 hours
Another Cleric: 16 hours
Me: 26 hours
Some other guy: 10 hours

No reported spawn in that time, never got in contact with the next person that was there.

Thanks for posting something useful, why would they lie and ask me to make a bug post? I talked to all of them in game and they were upset about not getting PS to spawn and were curious if it was bugged too.

There have been no confirmed spawns, this camp has been passed off from one person to the next person, no breaks, confirmed.

And some advice, the pained soul isn't who you're camping. You're the pained soul. Once you realize this and learn to transcend time, being active every 7 mins really isn't that bad. Rotting skeleton broke my mind during the 10 hour camp. After I recovered, pained soul was time consuming but not nearly as traumatizing.

^^This. It almost becomes comical after awhile and if you do the camp straight it feels like a bad acid trip. I just started laughing everytime I saw the damn ph run at me and die.

When I last camped it;

First guy was there 32 hrs, next guy was there 28 hrs, then took me and another guy 16 hrs combined before we saw a spawn. That is 3 spawns in 76hrs and who knows how long prior the previous spawn was before the guy that put 32hrs in got the camp.

I am calling it quits now at 6/16 12:30 am est. No one has taken over the camp so I will stay logged in with logs running to try to see what happens.

Confirmed this AM 0736 I got pained soul...... Might have been bad luck spawning god. Although there was a server reset this AM and it spawned like 4 spawns after.
