I don't know, I don't play fallout, I'm sure it'll be fun, just looks so gimmicky. I'm legit livid about DOOM though. So fucking awful looking. :mad:

$120 for Collector's Edition which comes with the Pipboy not $350. And trust me this has ticked all the boxes for us Fallout fans. It definitely looked a little gimmicky but that's actually largely been the appeal of Fallout. It kind of makes fun of itself and the 1950's-60's consumer / stepford wife culture of the time. There's definitely a few things I'm concerned about but all in all the hype train has left the station for me.

Doomguy limping along like he's waist deep in chilled molasses is not Brutal DOOM

For all of their talk about "going back to DOOM's roots" they really missed the mark.

DOOM was literally the only game I was still looking forward to anywhere and they managed to ruin it.

I thought it looked great (Doom). Monsters felt really inadequate though. So small, not intimidating looking. I can kind of see the return to the fast paced original gameplay. Maybe that's why the monsters look so silly. We'll see.

You know, the game was so slow I hadn't even noticed, had to look again and you're right. :(

Its like they crammed all of the bad aspects of modern shooters from the past fifteen years into one game.

Fallout 4 has a good framework for modders to improve it drastically. A lot of the new features are actually taken directly from fallout 3 and new Vegas mods. I'm excited.
