Title. This has happened to me 2 times over the span of a few weeks. I'm finally reporting it. I zoned from SolB to SolA behind the pool area with 12 % hp. All buffs were stripped =/ 12% isnt even that low tbh, i think i didnt report it before because i zoned with like 5 hp or something and just considered it a fluke.

Thanks for reporting this working as intended bug.

Have a nice day.

If you zone while having less current hp than the sum of your bonus HP from buffs, your buffs are stripped. This is classic.

Before the buff-strip was added, you used to die on zoning.

This was unknown to me, thanks for the info.

Thanks for the reply. A simple 20 second search would yielded you an answer as well. The search function works great!!

prior to implementing this classic feature, you wouldn't die from zoning with low hp. not sure what eisley is talking about...

mainly red players wanted it because its also suppose to strip dots that would otherwise kill you. now the dots get stripped like they did in classic

What I meant is, prior to them implementing this classic feature ON LIVE, you would die. On Live.

sucks that it further cripples DoT classes

ah, interesting. Don't remember that one. Thanks for clarifying!

it doesnt seem to be working correctly atleast on red. ive zoned a few times with around 200 hp and still kept all my buffs. or maybe its not implemented correctly...

from memory, in classic it checked buffs and also HP gear.

for example:
1) 0 hp buffs & 200 hp gear
2) 200 hp buff & 0 hp gear
3) 100 hp buff & 100 hp gear

in all 3 scenarios above, if you zoned with less than 200 hp, all spell effects would get cleared

stamina buffs/gear - not sure how those worked but

I'm pretty sure it only checked worn HP gear. Not buffs.

Because if it checked buffs you could zone with 1500 HP and still get stripped.

As time went on, and HP gear increased, this became a more prevalent occurrence in Luclin/PoP, which lead to it ultimately getting removed.

But Classic-Velious people aren't sitting on 1000 HP+ in gear (unless MT in Velious). So it should be a relatively uncommon thing unless you're DoT'd and trying to make it to zone.

See the 2nd quote. That's a direct quote from Devs in the patch notes explaining it is only worn HP gear. Buff HP is irrelevant.

ah interesting. so gear only. thanks for clearing that up for me. In classic I seem to recall it happening more often on lower level characters, which makes sense since a few HP rings would double a noobs HP.
