Calis Silverthorn - Wood Elf Ranger

I started my career in Guardian of Tunare not to long after release, after an ich from some Plane of Fear and Hate runs with the big dogs I followed a RL friend, Zadok (DE Necro) to Divine.

Ran with them to just near the end of Velious, and I believe it was at this point the guild kind of fell apart. Joined Prophecy for a short time, believe Jave? was the human warrior leader whom invited me at the time. Quit for a short time after and came back to become a member of Glory's Path. Made a lot of RL friends here, even had a time where we all met up in Vegas. Snacks and beer at Endorek's house!

Just recently started back up when I heard of this Project 1999. Played forever on Bertox years ago.

Had a Wood Elf Ranger named Calis Silverthorn. Was in Divine, Prophecy for a short bit, and then retired in Glory's Path.

I can't remember what guild I finally ended up in as I quit shortly after joining one (never got into the raiding scene although I definitely had a few friends in Phantom Raiders). But I definitely played on Bertoxx back in the day:

Balorin, 35 Warrior

+So many alts that kept me from ever hitting cap :)

I played on Bertoxx from April 19th 1999 till Jan 7th 2007.

My first main was Vermilion Starfires, human Paladin of Nife.
My later main was Dwimmerlaik, DE Necro.
Assorted alts and Nobben my port-bot too :-)

I was in Holy Crusaders, Flaming Blade of Truth, Healers of Norrath, Artes Moriendi and finally Debeo Amicitia. There was a core of us that went through all those guilds together, Good times with good folks.

Yes I am from Bertox/tp server I was in Blades of glory guild before they moved to eq2. I had some awesome friends in prophecy.

I was in Prophecy on Bertox back in the day... probably from summer-ish 1999 thru spring 2001 or so. As I remember we stopped playing sometime shortly after Prophecy started doing Plane of Growth.

The character Iniamyen was actually played by both myself and my younger brother tag-team style since we were both in high school and busy with other stuff.

Since that time, a lot has happened (college, jobs, marriage, kid) but it's still pretty amazing to be able to connect to members of the same community. I have great memories of huge wipes after porting into Plane of Hate, huge trains in Lower Guk, always dying in The Hole and Chardok without ever seeing the end, and a million other deaths in cool places I can't remember right now.

I don't know why I didn't find out about P1999 until now, but it looks like a fun way to have a little nostalgia. Cheers everybody.:)

My entire family played on Bertox. I played a Gnome Mage named Yinmaren and about 8 other characters with variations on the theme.

Family consisted of people like Airek/Airiziq/variations of that/Tobey Gowreck (anyone who did the EC tunnel game probably remembers him), Banadan, Syllee Sneakyfeet, and others.

Does anybody remember a failed Fear raid that had people dueling one another outside of the zone so they could get their corpses back?

Hi everyone from Bertoxx.
I played a Bard named Candora <Phantom Raiders> from 1999 until about 2002. I just found out about Project 1999 about a month ago and started up aging with an RL friend and were having a blast revisiting some of the old zones

I was able to get my old name so say hi to Candora in game if you know me.
