Okay, so I fixed the problem last night and it allowed me to play like normal. But now I tried to log in again and now its saying my client files aren't up to date or whatever. I am assuming that the Duxa ui did something to mess up my files, so would uninstalling it or anything like that get it back to normal?
Or am I just going to have to reinstall the whole thing?

Okay, reinstalled game and no luck. I cannot find the spell files it is talking about that I need to download. The only link to them I could find is broken. I've reinstalled the game 5 times, and made the shortcut and all the other tricks suggested. Does anyone have any clue what it will take to get my game running again? Preferably with the DuxaUI

duxa wasn't messing up your installation most likely, there's really nothing it could overwrite that would damage your client even if you installed it incorrectly
it was probably due to a random error involving internet connectivity, where you connect to the server initially, load into char select, and then lose your connection at some point and it displays a message saying your spell files are out of date. (at least that's what I'm guessing is happening after experiencing it over the years)
If you are sure you've patched your spell file correctly, and you still receive this message, it means you're not fully connecting and you need to restart your client, and preferably your internet connection/router/etc.
Here is a link to the spell files : http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files36.zip

So the spell files aren't serperate from the game files ?
I ran the All In one Installer on a fresh install of the game. Ill try restarting my pc/router/etc.

The spell files "P99Files36" are a separate thing you need to download and and yes they do replace some of your game files.

Okay, I just extracted the files from your link. Will see how that goes.
Update:Still getting the outdated spell files message after extracting the files from that link. Is there a specific place where the files need to be extracted to besides your Titanium folder?

Yes inside the titanium folder they go.
Make sure you aren't installing titanium itself to program files. That's bad directory for this particular game because of file permission issues and things not updating correctly.

I’m having the same issue. From the gitgo I wasn’t sure where to download the (recommended install). I can’t play the game anymore because I downloaded this. I don’t think I even have a titanium folder. /c, program files (86), /Sony, /Everquest is where my patch goes correct? I’m prompted during install of titanium on where it will go. That’s where I’m stuck.

As Casey VII already said, you should NOT have the game in the Program Files folder, since that causes problems with file access.
Btw once the game runs, you don't need to install it really. Make a backup somewhere (just copy it on an external disk for example) and if you break the game somehow you can just copy it back on your PC (again NOT under Program Files ;)).
