I've enjoyed adventuring and running around from bb to greater fay to cb, unrest, then to kurns.
As I level and xp, I find new friends, few foes. But, what are some good camps I can do to get cash, also I play a 17 cleric.
I am going to try out the dervish camps and see how the money to be made off of them are. Just enough for spells.
But! Does anyone else know of some camps I could do, I may not care if maybe a faction that is useless is in the red from a camp. Errosli sisters (maybe I have the name wrong) in ocean of tears, that messes with wood elf faction? Ive heard its a good way to make money, but I don't know on the faction wise part.
I think this could be a great thread for peeps out there starting like me that could use some guidance from you eq mentors.

Oh i talk a bout that in my post, but basicaly you will be KoS in Plane of Growth. If you are a paladin, that means you will be uanble to do the quests in that zone, which afaik are a few great items. If you are Druid same.. possibly ranger.
You cannot raise your factoin after lowering it with tunare and you can also expect to be KOS in the kelthin warrior and ranger/druid guild.. but who cares about that! :)

Oh neato. What somethings you know of I can do in faydwer if I was there. Or in northern antonica, and southern antonica, lvls 15-25?

Faydwer:
Sisters camp in Lfay. This is great cash (and great exp until 19) but is camped very frequently and sometimes even has a list.
CB gettin belts/pads to sell.
Unrest has some small bronze that drops as well as a few drops that you can sell. Or use, iirc there are a good amount of cleric drops in this zone. This is a great spot for a cleric and groups will want you for MR or behind the house in the yard.
Antonica: Upper guk is good for your level. Scryer camp would want a 17 cleric.
I'm sure there are many others that I am missing.

Greater lightstone quest in NK is the only way I was able to afford my Druid spells in my teens and lowest 20s. It's a good choice.
http://wiki.project1999.com/Research_Aid
You turn in for the research book and sell it back to a merchant.
3-8/9 http://wiki.project1999.com/Rabid_Wolves 2pp per turn in, 100% drop rate.
9-14 http://wiki.project1999.com/Rabid_Grizzlies 4pp per turn in, 100% drop rate.
14+ http://wiki.project1999.com/Bandit_Sashes 4-10pp per turn in, something like 30% drop rate.
I can usually break 800-1k by the time I hit lv18 doing the above, and exp from rabid quests is really good.
I've seen folks hitting 20 doing grizzly but the exp would be terribly slow, more for the plat i guess?
SK/Nec need not apply, all 3 of these quests will wreck your guild faction.

These are all great suggestions, as well as the greater lighstone hunting in NK or go to Erud's Xing and get an entire inventory of Greater Lighstones for 500+pp in one trip. Qeynos has the best money making early on for sure.
You can also save up bone chips, spider and spiderling silk. But IMO those don't really sell that quickly and TBH most people only buy them to help out low level players and not because they actually need them. Personally I don't find it's worth the time to try and sell them but that's just my play style I suppose.

How the heck do you farm the rabids? Every time I go to QHills they are camped by more than one person.

I guess you have to play offpeak.

Try selling Bone Chips in Gfay / Butcherblock. There's a quest in Kaladim that takes Bone Chips for faction and good xp into the teens. People will buy them up by the Backpack-full for xp-ing out any new characters they make. I usually sell my bone chips within a minute or two of my first /auc outside the Kelethin bank. Having a full backpack or more (with a slight discount for buying the whole lot) helps them sell faster.
Spider Silk is more likely to sell in EC where you have a better chance of finding a tradeskiller, although they can be harder to sell as Spider Silk can be pretty easy for a high-level to farm in large quantities in a short amount of time.
Something else that newbies often miss for cash is Leather Padding (http://wiki.project1999.com/Leather_Padding). Buy a skinning knife from a Blacksmith (around 5-15pp). As you hunt Bears/Cats/Wolves collect every pelt you can and don't vendor any except the ruined ones. Use the skinning knife in a tailoring kit with the pelt to reduce it to Low Quality (don't do this to High Quality Bear Pelts, as those are used to make Tailored Backpacks and are worth a good amount of coin), combine Spiderling Silk to make thread, then combine thread and the LQ pelt to make (stackable!) padding. You can sell these for pretty good cash, usually about 5-10pp each (100-200pp for a stack).
Look up EVERYTHING that drops from whatever you are hunting on the Wiki. A lot of items have more uses than you may expect, and there's always someone who will spend money so they don't have to spend time collecting.

Loramin, good post. I had no idea that that guide existed, thank you.

Yea with the increase in server population these are much more camped then previously, the camp is "yours" once you can be at and hold both spawns (wolves) or single spawn (grizzly) as they pop.
Starting at lv3 I usually just camp the lv3 wolf (other is lv5), its a rough fight if your new since its an even con plus the possible rabies. Kill and rest at its spawn point, most outdoor respawns are 6min 45sec so set a timer and be standing and ready to rock as soon as it pops. Each kill at lv3 is like 2% and the hide turn in is something like 12-15% of the level (based off 10% exp penalty from a caster). Which is much faster leveling for a new player vs. killing blues.
Most recently I did this route on a mage, starting at 4 (cause needed pet) I farmed up 30 rabid wolf hides controlling both spawns cause mage pets OP and almost hit lv5 off kills. Turn-ins got me to mid way through lv8 and then went to rabid grizzly, 42 spawns later I hit 12 after turn-ins. 220pp earned

usually I just kind of do a run by to see if they've pop when I'm traveling to sureglade and then later Blackburrow but yea its camped fairly often. I know its somewhat profitable but camping them doesn't seem like an overly exciting prospect.

oh yes its mind numbingly boring, after doing 42 cycles of the grizzly bear (almost 5 hours) I was dead inside. thankfully I did it while playing at work so the 6min idle time could be spent almost working.

I was trying to take out Rapid Grizzlies and Rapid Wolves yesterday in Qeynos and there was none to be found. I was out for about 4 hours and saw no Wolves and only about 5 Grizzlies.
I ran all over Qeynos and the zone felt like nothing was popping...
they all have static spawn points and roam to specific spots before returning to said spawn.
only 2 wolves and 1 grizzly, check the wiki as i believe they have coordinates listed

rabids usually spawn on the western side of the map in the hilly area not far in from the zone line from Qeynos, the bear spawn somewhat near the blackburrow entrance

There was one single person camping the rabid grizzly bear during most my entire stay in QHills. It was kind of tragic to see somebody punishing themselves like that.
Wisps and regular grizz are better exp and money and you don't have to worry about some bigger masochist trying to steal your spot if you let your guard down for a half a second.

was it a human mage by chance? might've been me!!! its a decent afk camp where one doesn't have to worry about actively killing mobs for exp, instead relying on quest item turn in.

Nah, was somebody in leather. I guess the afk aspect is a legitimate draw, if you're able to take 1 minute to kill a mob every 6 minutes at work it would make some sense to do a camp like that.
But wisps and regular grizz are cash cows at that level too, so I'ld rather be frolicking around the zone killing things instead of staring at a patch of ground. There's plenty of time for that style of gameplay later.
