Bind-point/Corpse Camping and Loot and Scoot (LnS)

Killing someone over and over again while at his or her bind-point or while they are in the process of looting and scooting is illegal and may result in disciplinary action taken against your account.


Ok, I want whoever is in charge right to tell me, is this legal or not? the number of Empire that flaunt this rule with impunity is making me wonder if this is real or not.

I mean it's written really clear for anyone that can read English the statement about bind camping IS SEPERATE due to the "or" from LnS. I do NOT need to call LnS, people are NOT allowed to bind camp someone. If a person moves from the spot, attacks people or try to loot their corpse open again, but people not allow to just simply murder someone.

If this rule doesn't apply then it needs to be changed.

I wasn't doing either Doors. I was pked in seb, I wound up outside seb orb, where I was repeatedly killed mulitpule times by 3-4 empire. I even warned them that this was my bind point and not to kill me repeatedly. they did it anyway.

I want to point out that this person (Quiex) is openly abusing the petition system simply by putting himself in situations where he has to use it so often.

He's a perpetual victim that abuses any system he is part of, whether his mind is ignorant of it or not it is painfully clear he is petitioning way more often than the average player.

You may be completely ignorant to what you're doing but it is still a form of entrapment.


In berger law, entrapment is a practice whereby a whiny perpetual victim induces a person to commit a virtual offense that the person would have otherwise been unlikely to commit. It is a conduct that is generally discouraged and thus, in many jurisdictions, it is a possible defense against criminal liability

I don't bind in heavily contested places, at least no more the anyone else. there's lots of people that bind outside of KC, at Seb Orb, near zonelines. how am I any different?

I had this same experience with Quiex. I had to explain how the lns system works after I killed him a few times on my rogue. It is also common for him to bind in moronic spots such as Seb orb, Kc entrance, South ro j boots camp hill etc. If you are bound in a retarded spot, you need to call LNS in ooc Immediately upon spawning at your bind point or consider yourself fair game. If that is too hard to grasp then just quit out till the fire dies down.


People that sit there and die over and over, in the hopes of a petition, should be suspended on the grounds of retardation syndrome.

Lotta people try and lawyerquest the rules on it, its not a perfect system and never will be unless there are more active GMs/guides to enforce and that simply won't happen. I had my druid port bot zone into seb to scout zoneline since im a 40 some druid and don't mind eating yt if i can check the zone line clear because i knew lns was going to be violated and didn't want it to happen hence succor east, died, was bound outside. called LNS seb, zoned in. looted up my corpse, and within 20 seconds of sitting down I had Scarface and someone else telling me to "leave the zone now or im killing you, leave now" etc over and over and he killed me on LNS. I barely had the 80 mana for gate(no mana regen until looted my bags with water, even then it took a bit to get the mana and mem my spells). But according to Scarface LNS because I was on a druid means I should have been able to instantly poof out of the zone like magic.

Other times, It just comes down to people being dicks and wanting to get that YT to pad their stats. I have only ever petitioned one person for lns violations and that was when I got killed 5 times at my bind after obvious LNS calls and GMs took care of that. Most of these people aren't worth the time to even bother, despite their shitty attitude and the excuses following along the lines of "well your guildy killed my alt on LNS so im gonna take it out on you wahh" type of stuff.

Most of the above LNS up above he was calling from dreadlands, then kc, then EJ then finally the last 3 were from TT. One person even asked why someone called LNS so much. He did this to make it abundantly clear so anyone zoning or just logging in would make no mistake because he was killed at least 1 prior time to Sindarella nuking him in log above.

Legday was in the zone for less then a minute before being killed for 'not looting and scooting' fast enough apparently monks can cast gate and instantly get out of seb entrance. Though I think Scarface mixed up monk with a rogue being able to sneak/hide and run out NP as opposed to a 55 monk buffless probably a 50/50 chance of not dying at best when he had me there to port him out safely also on LNS already. Telling us it was clear to run from zone in to top zone out, but in reality only the first 2 frogs at ent were dead the rest were spawned. I think they were more worried about us being in the zone thinking we were using lns to 'spy' on their ledge group, as if it was so important.

Oh man so much more I could paste but im sure its a wall of text already. Scarface's LNS rules are pretty interesting how they vary. Also Legday was on his 4th some LNS still during this period when I finally got out with corpse and ported/evac'd him again then camped for a bit.

I barely had the 80 mana for gate(no mana regen until looted my bags with water, even then it took a bit to get the mana and mem my spells). But according to Scarface LNS because I was on a druid means I should have been able to instantly poof out of the zone like magic.

Other times, It just comes down to people being dicks and wanting to get that YT to pad their stats. I have only ever petitioned one person for lns violations and that was when I got killed 5 times at my bind after obvious LNS calls and GMs took care of that. Most of these people aren't worth the time to even bother, despite their shitty attitude and the excuses following along the lines of "well your guildy killed my alt on LNS so im gonna take it out on you wahh" type of stuff.

Legday was in the zone for less then a minute before being killed for 'not looting and scooting' fast enough apparently monks can cast gate and instantly get out of seb entrance. Though I think Scarface mixed up monk with a rogue being able to sneak/hide and run out NP as opposed to a 55 monk buffless probably a 50/50 chance of not dying at best when he had me there to port him out safely also on LNS already. Lotta people try and lawyerquest the rules on it, its not a perfect system and never will be unless there are more active GMs/guides to enforce and that simply won't happen. I had my druid port bot zone into seb to scout zoneline since im a 40 some druid and don't mind eating yt if i can check the zone line clear because i knew lns was going to be violated and didn't want it to happen hence succor east, died, was bound outside. called LNS seb, zoned in. looted up my corpse, and within 20 seconds of sitting down I had Scarface and someone else telling me to "leave the zone now or im killing you, leave now" etc over and over and he killed me on LNS. Legday was in the zone for less then a minute before being killed for 'not looting and scooting' fast enough apparently monks can cast gate and instantly get out of seb entrance. Though I think Scarface mixed up monk with a rogue being able to sneak/hide and run out NP as opposed to a 55 monk buffless probably a 50/50 chance of not dying at best when he had me there to port him out safely also on LNS already. Telling us it was clear to run from zone in to top zone out, but in reality only the first 2 frogs at ent were dead the rest were spawned. I think they were more worried about us being in the zone thinking we were using lns to 'spy' on their ledge group, as if it was so important.

According to the written rules, regardless if you call LNS or not, "Excessive" bind camping is illegal. But then what is excessive? I watched someone get killed 20 times at bind and GM was like " should of called LNS "(it wasn't me, was someone else). If we have rules they should be consistently and fairly enforced. That obviously does not happen here. Judges around the world have thrown out laws simply because they were not consistently and fairly enforced. They also throw out laws that are to broad or vague (excessive is too vague). There are no separate entities to create rules, police them and then prosecute. More like a judge dread atmosphere here, with understaffed resources. If it's true that a gm says bind point killing is ok because he did not call LNS then rewrite the rules. Maybe excessive means to kill someone before they get a chance to type LNS and press enter, then write the rule that way.

If there was a vote, I would vote to remove PnP altogether. If you would like to keep your items on your body then don't go into contested zones especially if you are a tracker and a boss mob is nearly due. Or else try to log back in later, maybe at 5:30am est to get your corpse.

A med up away from the orb
B zone in, loot and gate within 15 seconds
Never have had to call LNS yet, maybe will one day...

So maybe some people exaggerate or leave out small details that make all the difference.
