You can get to FV from the left dock in Butcherblock by getting on the small boats, or you can run there from dreadlands portal, but I don't suggest that. You can also get there from the OT boat but I don't suggest that either.

There are two ways to swarm kite, I believe this way is the manly way.

for new players like me it's very cool to have those videos, well explained, much more realistic than a forum post.

Maybe I missed a video but how are you swapping instruments?

He disabled mouse look and it appears that as he is using his keyboard to circle he is using the mouse to swap the instrument that he is holding.

Watching videos like this really make me regret rolling up a Rogue. :D

Why wouldn't you suggest a port to DL and running with selos? Seems the fastest way to me.

Maybe I missed a video but how are you swapping instruments?

For some reason I didn't see these replies. Check the binds that I mention at the beginning of the video. When you're ready to strafe, turn on auto run and switch to the first person camera. While autorunning hold shift and press A then keep holding A. This allows you to move the mouse while still strafing. I still use mouselook though to keep doing circles.

That may be faster. And i'd suggest getting a bind in FV too.

I keyboard turn in 3rd person, and I mouselook in first person to swarm kite. I let go of the right mouse button and keep strafing because of how my keys are bound (shift + A then keep holding A). After I switch instruments I use the mouse to turn again.

And bards are fun but they have their downsides. I just rerolled warrior but I know bards will destroy me in open zones.
