Which race/city has the best starting bind point?

Kaladim. There's nothing better than getting merc'ed by yellow/red con aviaks as soon as you spawn.

Kelethin. You don't even need to zone to get to the city.

You will also get lost immediately and have to learn how to ask people for help within five minutes, provided you don't fall off the platforms and die first.

Maybe Halflings since they have a single town/bank in same zone + Druid rings 1 zone away. Beholder maze nearby probably under used also.

I would say Freeport because after you lvl 4 you can go to the tunnel and get buffs to make leveling easy up until lvl 11.

I'm gonna say Freeport or Kelethin. Both places have a solid population. Freeport definitely has a better chance to get high level buffs and high level people who will come be spontaneously generous. But, Kelethin has its fair share also. Freeport probably is a little better.

Kaladim. The area outside has tons of skeletons that you can then turn in in Kaladim to Gunlok Jure for awesome exp. Then you can move on to gfay/cb and kill orcs for belts and pads.

The birds will not attack you if you have not killed them.

Actually, they will, which is not classic. Level one dwarves are KOS to krags. I've meant to bug report this for a while.

My dwarf paladin was KoS at level 1 before killing anything. My dwarf warrior was not. Maybe it's a deity thing?

I still have Misty Thicket as my bind on my Halfling Warrior, even though he is approaching 50!

I find having a city next door to grab invis potions from, and possibly the busiest rings in the game makes it trivial to corpse run.

Strangely, after I hit about lvl 10 my bind changed from just outside Rivervale to in the gateway of The Wall.

I can often be found in Vasty Deep drinking lager or outside the bank helping equip young leatherfoot raiders.

I would have to say Iksar, Field of Bone, IS the best starting area in the game.

Next best XP area would have to be Gfay with Orc Hill, Crushbone.

Next Best would be WC, because you can run to EC Tunnel to buy and sell and get buff quickly.

So I would rate the above 3 the best overall. :D

Maybe you're right. My character that was KOS is a pally. My non-KOS one on live was a warrior.

I stand corrected.
