Alt Tab problem.

P99 is running well on my system, but I have an issue that is more of an irritation than anything else.

When I Alt Tab to look something up on the internet, my game screen goes to a minimized window and I have to manually click the switch to full screen button every time. Also, after I do this, my mouse pointer alternates between the regular in game pointer and a standard windows pointer. I need to relog to have it just stay as the game pointer.

Minor issues I know, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows of a fix.

The only real solution is to run P1999 in windowed mode.

Yeah you'll want to run in window mode, which has it's own little nuances as well if you're looking to go fullscreen-quasi-window mode.

I feel your pain. This probably does't help you but this is what I do to keep it in full after alt tab'ing..

I click full screen mode, then the resolution selector then hit apply/ ok (whatever it is). Then I hit ok I want to keep these settings. It never works if I hit the fullscreen mode after selecting ok to confirm or in the resolution screen. This probably makes no sense but hit me up in game and I can explain.

Also on my laptop with Win 7 i don't have all the weird issues that i do with my win 8.1 DT. But no matter which system, I do have this problem. My real fix is to slave my laptop as my info looker upper and just keep my DT on full screen.

make a custom resolution in your eqclient file and play in windowed mode
