His final ban was heavy handed and shady anyhow. I may personally think the guy is a POS, but the evidence against him was thin at best. Staff just wanted to feel important, so the OG Holo guys shrugged off their warmbody status and cut off the hand that fed them pixels for 2+ years. Half(or more) of the people who post no in this thread would still be rocking mithril and ssbs if not for Nizzar.

If some guy offered me $140 for some pixel that was otherwise going to pointlessly rot on an alt, I would sell it too. Nizzar got crucified for doing what anyone else here would have done, and no one ever managed to get evidence of more organized RMT. He was just in a visible spot because he played for countless hours every day.

Then he was told he could not lead a guild, and was banned again, not for actually leading the guild, but for contributing to leadership on a few occasions. That gray area is on the same level as saying, "you can come back, but you can't talk to anyone". The whole thing was barely communicated or reasoned out, and only served as an opportunity for the grandmaster of EQ douches to get some desperately needed attention.

Actually, that is false. I have nothing against the guy, nor do I care if he returns, but he was leading the guild. I was in the guild and the ts, so let's at least stick to facts.

Clearly the majority of this box feels that the Duke shouldn't have been hit with the permaban and the circumstances surrounding the second ban-wave are dubious at best. Always love and appreciate what the staff do for this box, but this should honestly be rolled back.

This thread is nostalgia for Nizzar's dominance, and nothing more. I don't remember 110 people fighting for "justice" when it happened. I remember most people loving/ accepting it and completely understanding why it went down the way it did (especially Azrael).
