How would you rate the efficacy of the spell Disintegrate (http://wiki.project1999.com/Disintegrate)
in terms of using it to camp cash mobs (that are below the max level threshold)? Are there many camps/situations where it is useful, or does the challenge tend to be keeping adds/pops clear? Is it too easily resisted? Seems like fun to be able to just explode a mob as soon as it spawns, with no worry of roots breaking or mobs running off into a dungeon full of friends.

"Completely destroys your target, leaving nothing behind." i.e. there's no corpse and you don't get loot.

Ah... That's unfortunate. Thank you.

Have used it on quag maelstrom a few times on sea fury island...it's occasionally useful but probably the least useful level 60 spell

It has a very long cooldown, the reagent is expensive, and even though the mob poofs instantly it still agros other mobs. Its not a great spell.

Isn't its only real use for when you aren't winning a kill to prevent others from looting the corpse?

Was useful in BoT doing Agnarr, you could insta slay the portals that spawned giants.

Beyond that... the insta-banish spells that dru/cler/necro/mag/wiz get are mostly novelty spells, usable in 1-2 raid encounters in Luclin/PoP and useless beyond that.

Lol

You could really be an evil bastard with it.
