Given the terrible range of shurikens, store bought ones are 60 iirc, is it possible to sneak pull with them?

Doesn't seem like you could get enough distance between you and the other merbs before sneak dropped from being hit to not aggro the rest of the bunch.

Though I probably don't understand sneak pull mechanics fully. It lowers aggro range just like lull/harmony from behind, once your ranged attsck either registers as a hut or miss can you drop sneak to move back quickly or will that instantly restore aggro radius?

used to be able to not sure if they have changed anything recently other than screwing up pulls when a mob paths between you and target.

If you reveal yourself from sneak while the mob coming after you is still in social radius of other mobs, they will social agro. I sneak pull with shuriken often, just strafe+forward away from the mob after hitting range attack and you'll be able to get enough distance to be good.

Yes, sneak pulling with shurikens is very doable. If you are having trouble with mobs re-aggroing, make sure that your sneak is active. Also, strafing is faster than backing up/moving forward when in sneak- so I press Sneak, stand up, throw Shuriken, mouse turn, start to strafe away, turn off sneak. It gets trickier when trying to sneak pull in short distances, but it's definitely doable- just be persistent and you'll get a feel for it.

Sneak with shurikens is how the pros do it. Albee it, the poor pros who cant afford forged javelins.

Sneak doesn't break when you throw the suriken. If you're a rogue don't forget to turn off hide or it will break both hide and sneak.

Also face the mob when backing up initially so your dodge, party and riposte work. You only drop sneak if the land an attack.

Or just be lucky enough to still have 4 bags full of stacked Antonian Javelins. Question about that if they were stacked before the nerf and you move them to a different character or from bank to character or back do they stop being a stack?

For now.

Sneak SHOULD break when you initiate a throw. However you should be able to re-activate sneak before the thrown item hits your target and causes aggro. This will be patched in shortly I believe.

They stop being a stack. The night before that went into effect I had made like 20 stacks of them, all singles in the morning

forged javelins are fairly cheap to make.

You can use throwing axes, but that does mean a bit of inventory management due to lack of stackability and them not working properly with the ammo slot.

No way, as an enchanter I always want the monk who single pulls to leave to do IRL things so I can impress the group with amazing cc. :p
