Feign death - do you scream?

Curious to know...both my SK and necro (spell cast FD) on blue don't hit the deck with a howl of pain, but my monk on red is audible when he goes down.

Just wondered if that was a common feature, and if it's a bug, and if its something classic. I know other people hear the necro/SK make a death sound, I just hear the spell effect going off.

I don't ever recall making noise when feigning death on live, other than the spell noise.

Monks made noise on FD back in the day. I don't recall if spell Feign Death did.

Yep sounds are on as normal as far as I can see.

Humans do, I don't think other races do it as far as I've noticed.

I thought that on live it made the death noise when you failed but not when you succeeded or maybe it was the other way around. Not sure, could be wrong entirely.

I never remember hearing a SK or Necro make a noise on live. I don't hear it on when my Ogre SK drops to the ground, fail or not.

Same with the dark elf necro.

Maybe it's a Human thing =b!

Well I held off bug reporting, I can't find any historic Allakhazam/Everlore/etc comments that back it up... but my memory of the big troll/ogre death sound with FD (the combination of noises) is definitely there.

Was it something that was taken out of P99 a while back perhaps?

Mained a DE SK for a long time, he def made the death sound when I casted FD.
