Is there anything in any Red99 policy against asking someone to meet for a group or trade and then killing them?

On RZ, I grouped with a player several times over the course of a week and established trust only to have him turn on me at the Butcherblock Chessboard and steal my spider fur collar. I realize you can't loot items here, but does anything like this happen on red99?

Legit by the rules to backstab / set up trades and gank / make an exp group and turn on someone.

Though in my opinion, just because it's red doesn't mean you have to be a dick. Course, ymmv.

i got suspended for inviting someone to my exp group, killing them, and calling them nizzar

No point in burning bridges just to make someone LNS or for small amounts of platinum. If you had something to gain from pvp then you might see this happen more.

Ironlion (on his paladin, didn't know it was him til months later) advertised in ooc as a 5 man group with space for a healer, was on my troll shaman at the time who had next to no gear...said he could get someone to port me to Gfay to head to Unrest or MM, forget which.

Ran to the WC spire, got picked up. Landed in North Karana instead, got ambushed.

The guard pathed through shortly after and got the killing blow so ended up eating an XP death.

I like him though, learnt a valuable lesson and had a laugh about it later. Bring back <Islamic State in Norrath>, miss the guy.

HPT actually pulled off the best one I've seen yet. Lvling alts in COM. Rando Mage keeps attacking our cleric. HPT throws him a random invite an he takes it. Insta sky neck clicks him out and kills him in FFA sky. Many chortles were had
