Swiftwind can be MQd lower I was told since you just have to have the ranger(trying to complete the quest) forage the items and then have a druid or ranger do the first few steps up to Ella Foodcrafter to mq for the bowl then you have someone MQ the vs and sky pieces. It is alot for someone to ask a random ranger/druid to do. But it is doable watch it though I am sure its probably easy to get your quest pieces eaten if faction isnt right or if turned in wrong. Not sure about GM support on something like that either if it goes wrong.

Also have to be careful as there are a few places that arent low level ranger friendly in the quest.

To answer your question above no you cannot you have to be able to forage the pieces to mq from what I was told and have read.(corrected my response after looking at forage skill level req in wiki)

Yeah if you're super patient and resourceful. It's work though. Kinda defeats the point.
I was ready for ranger epic (VS / Inny) at 35.

I did a swiftwind for my lvl 29 ranger and all you gotta do is loot the book from the darkie corrupter in EK and you can proceed from that point. Planar pieces will need to be MQ'd.

MQ'd Earthcaller at Level 2 or 3 a few years ago, could have done Swiftwind also but didn't have VS.

I was rereading this epic quests walkthrough. How do you MQ it short of having someone else do most of the work? The corrupter is the only looted piece I see anywhere near the beginning and everything else seems to be no drop or includes no drop combines. Is the corrupter the first chance to do MQ? Also if you have raid target pieces on another character is it possible to do turn in then swap character to complete the step?

There are several parts where you could potentially get it mq'd.

The corrupter, if you want to do it mostly yourself pre-lvl 50, is where you'd start. The only level check in the quest is at the start (all the planar pieces can be mq'd). Alternatively, you could do it mostly on another toon and mq most of the quest later.


Yes, if you have the raid piece on another toon you can do a swap turnin.

it says you have to give kinlo the hammer to spawn usbak the old.. theres no other way to complete swiftwind from what I read without doing the hole part?

npc will not talk to you at lvl 1.

The only npc who wont talk to you is the starting npc. Figure out how to skip that, and you can get the epic at lvl 1.
