Small Walls: warrior race choice

I'll be making a warrior someday, but I'm deciding which race it'll be.

Halfling or Gnome? (Those are my ONLY choices. If anyone says ogre they will wake up tomorrow and realize they ran out of limbs.)

I figure Gnomes have worse warrior stats, but they can follow Bertoxxulous which would be neat. I'd probably be the only female gnome Bertoxx-following warrior on the server, and my special snowflake syndrome approves of this. I like their plate graphics as well.

Help me chooooose.

Gnome for the cool factor, and top notch FashionQuest.

Halflings make pretty good warriors, stat-wise, plus they level faster than any other warrior race.

Ohhh right, forgot about the XP bonus to halflings.... I'll still go gnome though, unless halflings look better. I haven't seen a female halfling yet.

halflings have sneak. that means they can bank or vender anywhere they can get behind the mob. that means thurg pots on and coldain rings while on giant faction.

I suppose I might go halfling after all, they have a bunch of benefits over gnomes it seems.

I decided to make my warrior a Halfling, but my cleric will definitely be a gnome. Rare race/class combos are my jam.

..lots of neat stuff from that armor..my Gnome SK on live was a tinker and I used those toys all through pop into god

DO NOT DO a Gnome!! I had one, they suck. You can't see over anyone else to find the mob or shoot arrows, etc. etc.. You WILL regret it. :p

You can't believe how BIG a Ogre really is till you have one as a Assist. :eek::eek:

When on live did they allow Halfling Paladins/Rangers or Gnome Shadowknights? (not sure if Gnome paladin was ever a thing?)

Halfling racial sneak is cool. That is true, but the real reason to make halfling is iksar hide boots on halfling. Those sweet green sneakers.

Go dwarf, best stats for a shorty, and generally best-ish melee stats. I have a halfling warrior, and I kinda regret it. I've sneak pulled maybe 5 times ever. It might be useful for some KoS questing at some point, but I never personally had to.

Dwarf is the worst choice obviously. Uglier than trolls. Gnome is probably best warrior, if you're not considering the elf races. Halflings are a really cool race but I just don't like how the female models look. With males you get the cute beer belly, but for women it's all hidden by a skirt.

Not sure. Always preferred proportionate races. But choosing a race for you depends on what you value most. Do you prefer looks, stats, uniqueness, or all of the above? Once you have a priority then it should be easy to choose.

Well, halflings (the female ones, at least) have pretty good stats, sneak and hide, an XP bonus, and they're not troll ugly but not barbie-doll-elf-tits hot either, and I like their little houses with circular doors. The choice is obvious.

Rivervale is one of my favorite cities, but I could never play a midget. Sounds like you found your pick though. I would go with looks over stats (unless stats are terrible like barbarian rogue vs DE), because looks affect how the character feels. Stat's aren't as noticeable as playing a race you can't stand.
