Rain Sound

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone else is having an issue with rain and thunder sounds. I'll log in and it'll be raining but no sound effects or thunder clashes either. I also noticed the chat box doesn't say "It begins to rain" either. I just noticed this earlier today, was wondering if it was an issue on my end or not. Nothing has changed and no files have been moved around or anything since the last time I heard rain, all other sounds and music work just fine.

i'd say you're lucky considering the thunder here is much more frequent.

My only issue with the rain/thunder sounds are how loud they are even at the lowest settings. I can have all my sounds set to the levels I want and it still comes through wicked loud. On another note in Lavastorm the volcano sounds are also ear shattering loud.

I'd love to have your problem.

Same here. And that damn Thunder in Lava, good god.

There was a patch you could do on the forums like a year ago, but can't find the Thread anymore. It does get old as heck after awhile. :(

The first time I went to lavastorm on p99 the volcano scared the shit outta me. Then I nearly ran into the lava because of the knee jerk reaction to the sound.

The rain and thunder sounds have been replaced on my game for so long I forgot it was still an issue.

Its a PC game. Mod it.

One of the UI installations did that years ago. I forget what its called but someone else will know.

If I find an image of my UI on my work PC I'll attach it later.

For me the rain is very relaxing, the thunder is light and in the distance.

and sometimes when,for some reason, it's not the whole backpack but every item in it that sounds off
