Funny how we couldnt see characters in zone but you were getting yt. Pretty sure you suffered from less desync. Gratz you lost some of your people to desync, we lost everyone to desync and lost 20 people while we were all trying to camp/quit out and come back

Got back in and it was a giant desync fest and my character position reversed like 3 times to different parts of the zones after desync ended.

Even if both sides had an equal amount(which doesn't seem very likely because resistance side still had melee assist trains running at the outset of the fight, as where we could do basically nothing) but the nature of the engage made the desync a much much worse thing for us, because of our strategy of not engaging upon zone in but mobilizing into a corner, this means while your forces engaged on our desynced raid force and scoring a ton of free kills(30+), your desynced members were relatively safe because they would of been near the zone in where we had no forces to capitalize on it.

I'm honestly really bummed not about any part of the fight itself so much as the lag issue basically crapping all over any chance of having like a real nice and crazy brawl, instead it was people fighting lag and because of the lag a totally inability to DEAL with the mobs that were running around, I died to mobs on 2 characters while totally lagged out well after the initial engage, so the lag never fully went away, it just got better.

My biggest takeaway from this is I hope we can have something happen with the lag, so the next one of these fights lives up to the hype like it should.

If nothing can be done to improve the server from a hardware standpoint. If people will always be mass DCed on this server when 120+ people are in one zone trying to fight. What should be done from a player base standpoint - in your opinion?

It sounds like the red server is finally living up to its potential for mass PVP rather than just being Blue without the competition like it has been for the past 4 years . . . should be some good fun for everyone involved, especially if you can buy Rogean some beer and convince him to spend a few hours profiling one of those fights and try to find an optimization or two to fix the lag.
