Hello all! Super excited to be coming back after a busy stint of RL nonsense hindered me from fully diving into p1999. Now that I have the time (and with Velious around the corner!) I plan on making a push to have a character in range of joining the fun.

After creating a few alts last night and dicking around I decided that I ultimately still want to tank. My original character was a warrior by the name of Bouncie (lvl 27) and I hope to continue playing him instead of re-rolling a war due to the time I have already taken to get him that high. My trouble in terms of returning is that when I stepped away I passed out whatever gear I had (admittedly not much, just some bronze and Staff of Battle) to lower level warriors in EC.

Now, I don't think it would be a leap to assume it may be a tad hard to find groups in my level range as a naked warrior :p. So here goes (already aware of the trolls lighting their torches)....if anyone could in anyway help get this char back on it's feet and in fighting condition once again I'd be eternally in your debt. There are to few reliable tanks in this game, and I aim to join the ranks of those that can be counted on moving forward in the next expansion. If there is anyone who could assist in any way to help propel me towards this goal I'd appreciate it greatly. Ultimately if the communities reaction is boohoo, go kick rocks...then I will end up rolling out another Ogre War, but would rather continue my journey on Bouncie then relive the past.

Hope to soon be leading you all through the deepest and darkest dungeons p1999 has to offer!

-Bouncie

Welcome Back. Yeah, when Velious comes out people will be begging for a Tank, and a Warrior one at that. Good choice.

This is one reason I never give any stuff away when I stop playing a game. I have a decent cheap weapon I could give you if I see you on. Don't really have anything else for a warrior.

Same here, I always know that I will come back one day.

Archie, I would be super grateful! Yes, Bouncie is a butt scratching Ogre so large would be needed.

In terms of the gear, I had a monk that always found himself in my group and had just started out like me. Figured my staff would be better in his hands then rotting in my bag!

This is why I never throw out my meth.

Go to Kentucky. They will buy all you have. It, and Heroin are a epidemic there. :(
