Sorry if this is answered somewhere already. I looked around and did not see anything about it.

Seen paladins walking around with them, so going to say yes.

sorry I just restarted. I haven't seen anything but decaying skeletons and whelps thus far. I remember doing the quest way back when and a full set of Ro to boot. Hats off to you pally's. 30+ hours to get ghoulbane is what it took me.

FYI, I saw someone trying to get rid of a ghoulbane for 550p earlier. I had 2kplat banked at 30 (although I had three different tradeskills and lot of experience to help me do that) and probably 3k in gear, so you're probably better off buying one at this rate.
Of course, unless you prefer the questing route for enjoyment, which is totally valid as well.

GB is a drop item, non quested at the moment. it has taken my maybe on average 3 hours to farm one each time, ive gotten maybe 7 or so.
and yes soulfire was a part of the original game upon release, with the Fiery Avenger being released at Sky (which we have passed). both items are in the game, and it was alot of fun doing those quests :p

What's the relationship between the soulfire, and the blade of nobility? I searched around a little, mostly because I just want to hunt the crazed goblins, which are apparently not in the game - and I wasn't able to figure out why.

no relation, nobility was for the ghoulbane quest item rather than the drop off uguk lord. i dont know the lore behind why, but i think sony made it quested so more people could get it or something -shrug- guessing here

They made ghoulbane questable because some people complained that the frogloks were of a good alignment and therefore, paladins shouldn't kill them. So, they made a quest version available for paladins that didn't want to kill frogs. That's my recollection anyway.

Yeah they made it easy because people where whining. I don't get whining about the ghoulbane part of the quest. If anything, gathering all that ronium was the hardest part. Oh and completely destroying your FP faction isn't so nice either
