If you're fighting a melee opponent that has above avarage MR, does it basically become a kiting game? I don't expect to be able to stand toe to toe with a equally/better geared pure melee class, so my question is what is the best way to 1v1 in a situation like that. Without the ability to use two-hand weps i imagine jousting as a bard is a really bad idea against, say, a T staff monk. Would it be best to melee a bit, run for regen, then come back, or to joust with a combination of trying to DoT/slow/snare them while keeping speed up in case they get a nasty Dbl attack, or a nasty rouge backstab.
Just any tips anyone from red can share on the bard class in pvp. Not expecting a well detailed guide on how to Bard, just a some tips that will get me thinking in the right direction when engaging certain classes in pvp.
At the moment i generally open with a dispel or two, as i figure that seems like the best course of action. If caster, I try to cycle a song in my rotation that can stop casting, tho if they have high MR it becomes much more interesting.
Thank ya.
