View Full Version : Should I wait to PVP?

I started blue99 about 2 weeks ago, decided to give red a shot. I love PVP servers on other games and some distraction from the level grind, but I have only PVP'd on populated games.
Besides the whole "vendetta while leveling" is there any disadvantage to PVP'ing at lvl 1 or 4 or whatever? I understand that I will probably get a reputation and be killed myself, but sometimes I just wanna drop someone. Am I underestimating how much impact it would have on a low pop server?
I'm currently playing a Wizard, because it was suggested to me as a good non-twink class for PVP. I understand they aren't the best soloists, but are good for PVP.
Thanks for the input.

You should pvp as early and as often as possible. Cultivate renown.
Doesnt matter youre gonna get fucked sometimes while leveling.
The best is the fungi ragebringer rogues waiting at your camp for you to level up.
just shrug it off and train on

Lot's of people have pretty awful KDR's in their younger levels due to lack of experience and gear.
Don't be most people. Nuke away.

Work on your int gear if you can, a couple of nuke resists and you'll struggle to finish your target off with base int stats.
Also remember most people stack magic resistance if they're stacking anything at low levels - ice/fire nukes 4tw <3

I think you're going to find that making enemies out of the very few and sparse low levels who you'd probably want to group with to take advantage of the huge group exp bonuses might not be the best idea...
BUT, with that said, if you don't give a shit, fire away!!!

Good luck even finding anyone in your range.

It's a red server. PvP from the start, as long as you're not a cunt about it you'll have no trouble grouping. The PvP will be looking for you anyway, probably better to be ready. You don't want to hit 50 and be terrible at PvP. I should know.

I'm still low level & looking for sane people to group with. Be novel not to have to look over my shoulder every Kill.
