Ranger weapon combos

I see so many good combos for rangers, procs, high dmg, low delay, 2 handed.

What do you guys feel is the best weapon(s) for rangers twinking with a desire to group to the end?

a Woodsman staff will take you from Level 20 to epics.

A Swarmcaller (http://wiki.project1999.com/Swarmcaller) is great to have until you obtain Earthcaller, although it doesn't proc until 46

Rangers don't get dual wield until lvl 17 and double attack until level 20.

Not sure why you'd use 1 lammy 1->17, or even 2 from 17->20.

Lammies aren't good weapons. +1 Silver Swiftblade to 20. Woodsman to epics.

Man speaks the truth. 2Hander all the way to epics after level 20. Before that Swiftblade. :)

But what about my weapon proficiency? Well, I'm glad you asked! You how when you're soloing (always) that the mob flees at 19% and stops moving or fighting back because you're an awesome ranger who snares things? That's a great time to swap to low damage 1 handers for practice or your Runed Blade for a nice hp buffer for the next fight.

Without parsing these, I'm going to say FBSS + Springwood Stave (http://wiki.project1999.com/Springwood_Stave), if you cannot afford a Woodsman + FBSS.

Silver Swiftblade 1-29. Woodsman's staff 30-epics. lupine dagger MH and CSS OH is pretty good in the 50s but not before. If you have the dexterity (200+) you could play around with a steel hilted flint dagger MH and whatever in offhand. Can be fun, not efficient but fun.

my vlv 15 ranger is hitting for max of 28 with silverswiftblade...str 110

seems an odd number!? well hits are 20 or 28. /boggle

28 is cap from 10-19 (you can go over sometimes with high str, but usually it's just 28). Lifts to 58 or something like that from 20-29

This, but i believe my Ranger was hitting around 32 during that time with SS, but I have like 160ish Str
