RED JUNCTION (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W0L28PW) is probably not for everyone -- but it might be for you. It's gross, gory, perverted and profane. It's also my first book.
It's a zombie romp set in the 1850s during Colorado's Gold Rush. The cast consists of cowboys, Indians, drunks, whores, outlaws and zombies. If you're so inclined, you can fap to parts of this book. I do not mind.
It's on Amazon in the Kindle store for $2.99, but anyone can read the first twentyish pages for free on their phone, tablet or computer -- just click "See Inside". If you have a Kindle, you can have the entire book at no cost with Kindle Unlimited or Amazon Prime. Currently it's #3 in the Horror Western section. Yesterday it was #4, behind a werewolf erotica book, but it looks like that lycanthrope couldn't keep it up. If you decide to check it out, I'll be greatly appreciative and hope you have a lot of fun reading.
Thanks for your time.

very weird.
do you wield a mace in real life too?

I guess that depends on what you consider real life.
Just kidding, a polearm is obviously the superior melee weapon for urban engagements. Aboard my Schwinn I can slay multiple pedestrians on a single pass.
Yes!!!!!
I've been waiting for this shit for years. Gonna get it going when I get home tonight.

Well that's awesome. Thanks Lune!
Hope you dig it. Would really like to hear what you think once you've given it a read.
Will check it out when I'm home tonight. I've always enjoyed your posts here, so I'm almost obligated to at least read a few pages

Appreciate the kind words, gents. Thanks for your support.
And you're right, Bob -- it isn't easy at all. The journey has been demanding and I was forced to abandon my dragon-slaying dreams. No regrets, though. I mean, it's not as if anyone ever made a buck off pixels.

Congrats. As an aspiring author myself (with only three chapters left to revise before I'm done!), I fully appreciate all the effort you must have put in (and all the dragons you had to miss). Writing a book is a MUCH harder thing than anyone imagines when they first start: props to you for finishing.

Thanks Loramin.
Best of luck to you. During my final edit, the last three chapters took about six months. It was unreal. In my defense, we did move from Iowa to Colorado and purchase a new home during that time. Just had too much going on to pump out top-notch zombie lit.

Just want to say thanks to everyone from Project99 who checked out my book this past week. This was one of the first places I brought it, because I trusted you fine folks would support me -- and you didn't disappoint. Extra thanks if you're one of the people who have already finished reading it and dropped me a review on Amazon. In the coming weeks I'll be embarking on a blog tour, which is totally bizarre. At least I won't have to get off my ass and can most likely squeeze in some EQ, even. I'll also be publishing some short stories for free.
Thanks again, P99. Been a really good week.

Congrats BT. You've always been pretty consistently in my top 5 favorite posters, so I'm sure that carries over into your literature.

That's crazy, but yeah real life can certainly get in the way of writing/editing.
As it turns out I still have another whole round of edits to go through with my technical editor, so I'm not as close to done as I thought. Still, when I get down to the final three chapters again I certainly hope they don't take me as long at it took you! :)
