anyone want to start a new Guild for newbs.

Looking to start a new guild for new players. My intent is to bring the ability for players new or old to start and to be find groups. No level requirements. A guild would give us another way to find info and groups. And if we grow well enough we will see where it takes us.
A liitle about me.... I played EQ from vanilla through most of pop where real life became more important than that next key. But now I have more time to devote to playing the game that I have truely missed..... Since i last played EQ i have done end game content on several different mmo's. Jumping from one to another looking for something. That is how I found 1999. Looking for another mmo and it hit me what I had been searching for.....EQ :D

Not a one lol. When I say I am a new player, I mean new to 1999. I have a good base of EQ knowledge. Played from vanilla to GoD. I figure if we can get a new player guild going it will flourish. Just send me a tell that you want to join.

Sounds like a fantastic idea Dysks! We regularly have lowby/leveling guilds pop up to try to fill this space. They are absolutely great for the community. The only problem that they run into sometimes is retention of players once they've leveled and new players seem to come in waves, so you can end up with an oscillating guild population. Not a problem though if you are committed to alts and recruiting ^^ best of luck to you!

I have submitted the 5 names and am just waiting for the admin to do their thing. I have several more beyond the 5 that are needed to start the guild and will invite them once the guild is official..

Lots of guilds that help those new to P99. Knights who say ni and Order of the hammer come to mind.
Logged back in to Dalnir the other night and Go team good guys had a mini raid force there getting gear. Props to those guys, those zones don't get enough love.
Former member of Knights, was a great experience. Can definitely recommend them.
Order of the hammer has a great guild leader, I see her helping lowbies in that guild all the time.

Order of the Hammer is a great guild! My first guild on the server, actually. I quit after a short time due to the silent chat. If you don't mind that, the people there are friendly and give advice if you ask for it.
