Mind clarifying what you mean by "milk" elementals? Do you mean cannibalize them?

From level 4, you should start to use and abuse your pets (if that's what you mean by milking) and send them do the shopping for groceries, polishing your shoes, ironing your robes and doing all the chores around the house. Aside from that, you can use them to fight for you and from level 39 start to chain summon efficiently.

There was a spell release later that allowed you to siphon pet hp for mana....forget what it was called.

It was much later in the release cycle iirc.

Well I meant more in the way that druids can begin to milk and/or charm animals at higher levels.
